The wilderness welcomes you in comfort! Enjoy a a family trip, romantic weekend, or book all three cabins for a group adventure.
Our first cabin 'Denali' was designed after the "tiny house" movement. We wanted to create a space we would love to visit. We are located on 1.7 acres in the Fish Lake Landing Subdivison, off mile 9.5 of the Talkeetna Spur Road. It is just a two hour drive north of Anchorage and 5 miles from downtown Talkeetna. Our cabin is lush with amenities including a 1-2 person infared sauna. 'Denali' is the largest of the tiny homes and the only one that allows pets. In 2023 we added two more modern 'tiny homes' to the front of the property, 'Aspen' and 'Dragonfly'. Each cabin has its own fire pit area and are designed to offer privacy.

Adventure awaits you in our historic town! Check out the Talkeetna Chamber of Commerce for information on local attractions. You can hike, fish, raft, flightsee, take ATV tours, learn about salmon and mountain climbing, visit dog sled teams, zipline, enjoy local restaurants, microbrew, music and gift shops. Summer 2023 there will be kayak and stand up board rentals on XY Lake. In the winter you can fat tire bike, ski and snowshoe right from the cabin. Enjoy!
Talkeetna Tiny House
Our biggest handcrafted cabin 'Denali" sits on a 12'x20' footprint and hosts an upper loft on each end that measure12'x8', 432 total square feet. One loft has a queen bed and one loft has two twin beds. Downstairs has a single click clack fold down couch and a 2" memory foam floor mat. Not only is it decorated with Alaskan art and photography, we provide only the best for you with luxury cotton sheets and towels. The bathroom houses a 1-2 person infared sauna and wall mount hairdryer. Other amenities include washer/dryer, fully equipped kitchen with a dorm size refrigerator, 20" electric 4 burner stove, Ninja blender, microwave, baking and cooking gear, and dish sets for 8 guests. Outside you will find a family size fire-pit year around, small propane grill (not available in winter), RV parking with with one electric hook-up, tent space and plenty of parking. Also included are free Wifi, sign into your Roku accounts on one flatscreen TV downstairs and one in each loft. Our two new modern 'tiny houses' are called 'Aspen' and 'Dragonfly'. They are on a 10'x20' footprint and have one story with high ceilings. They have a separate driveway from the main cabin and are offset for privacy. Each has their own propane BBQ (not available in winter) and 21" fire-pan year around. Cozy up with soft blankets and pillows while watching your favorite shows on the 43" Roku TV and enjoying the electric wall fireplace. The shower and bathroom are separate rooms to make sharing a small space more comfortable. They also come with an in-counter dishwasher, dorm size refrigerator, as well as a two burner induction stove top, and microwave. The kitchens are stocked with coffee, dishes, and cookware. We've though of everything!
